The Crépine
Around 2 miles offshore, this unusual and fascinating site never fails to surprise divers looking for something out of the ordinary. The pipes from a desalination plant, resting on a sandy seabed at 10 metres depth, have over time become a thriving artificial reef teeming with life.
The highlight of the site? A section of pipe roughly ten metres long that divers can swim through from end to end — a truly unique and unforgettable experience. All around, marine life is everywhere: small rays resting on the sand, imposing groupers, discreet crabs, stunning flabellinid nudibranchs and many other species that have made their home among the pipes. A neighbouring rock completes the picture, much loved by divers for its atmosphere and the remarkable richness of its underwater inhabitants.
