Diver Stress & Rescue — SSI
The best emergency is the one that never happens! This specialty teaches you to anticipate risky situations and respond effectively when the unexpected occurs.
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 12 years old (written parental or legal guardian consent is mandatory for anyone under 18)
- Valid SSI React Right certification or equivalent, including oxygen administration and AED training, issued within the last 2 years
- A medical certificate of fitness to dive (issued within the last year)
Certification Requirements:
- Theory sessions
- 3 practical scenario sessions in a pool
- 3 open water dives covering a variety of rescue scenarios
- SSI Diver Stress & Rescue digital certification card
